Recipients of the 2024 NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award Announced
We are pleased to announce that Profs. Yen-Huan Li and Van Tien Nguyen have been awarded the 2024 NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award.
The recipients of the 2024 NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award are recognized for their important contributions to mathematical science and mathematics: Profs. Yen-Huan Li of National Taiwan University for his work in machine learning theory, Prof. Van Tien Nguyen of National Taiwan University for his work in nonlinear PDEs.
The NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award was established since 2006 with the aim of encouraging and helping young talents in mathematical sciences in Taiwan in their pursuit of academic excellence.

[2024.03.19] Recipients of the 2023 NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award Announced
The recipients of the 2023 NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award are recognized for their important contributions to mathematics and mathematical sciences: Profs. Hao-Chung Cheng of National Taiwan University for his work in quantum information theory, Prof. Hsuan-Yi Liao of National Tsing Hua University for his work in derived geometry, and Cheng-Chiang Tsai of Academia Sinica for his work in representation theory of p-adic groups.
The NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award was established since 2006 with the aim of encouraging and helping young talents in mathematical sciences in Taiwan in their pursuit of academic excellence.
